§1. General provisions

1.1. The organiser of the competition entitled “Felt Scraps” (hereinafter: “the Competition”) is F.P.H.U. ARPI sp. z o.o., with its registered office at Kobylanka 812, 38-303 Kobylanka, operating under the brand name Feltdecor (hereinafter: “the Organiser”).

1.2. The competition is being held within the territory of the Republic of Poland.

1.3. The Competition is not a game of chance, a raffle, a mutual bet, nor a promotional lottery as understood by the Act of 19 November 2009 on gambling games. The result of the Competition depends solely on the creativity and ingenuity of the Participants, assessed by the Competition Committee.

1.4. The competition runs from the start of the Entry Period specified in §4 until the date on which the prizes are awarded to the winner, in accordance with the procedure set out in §9.

§2. The aim of the competition

2.1. The aim of the competition is to encourage Feltdecor’s customers to think creatively about how to use the PET felt scraps generated during the production of acoustic panels, in line with the principle of reducing waste and giving materials a new lease of life.

The competition is creative in nature and involves the creation of original projects in the fields of applied art and design.

2.3. The competition involves participants submitting an original idea for an item that could be made from PET felt scraps left over from the Organiser’s production process.

§3. Conditions of participation

3.1. A participant in the Competition (hereinafter: ‘Participant’) must be a natural person who, on the date of entry, is aged 18 or over and has full legal capacity.

3.2. The Competition is open to individuals residing in the Republic of Poland.

3.3. Employees and associates of the Organiser, as well as members of their immediate family (spouses, ascendants, descendants, siblings and adopted family members), are excluded from taking part in the Competition.

3.4. Entry to the competition is voluntary and free of charge.

3.5. Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Rules and Regulations in their entirety.

§4. Deadline and method of registration

4.1. Entries for the Competition will be accepted from 3 August 2026 to 1 December 2026 (hereinafter: ‘the Entry Period’).

4.2. To take part in the Competition, participants must:

  1. Sign up for the Feltdecor newsletter via the dedicated website
  2. Receive an email containing a link to the Google Forms registration form
  3. Complete the entry form, including answering the competition question about your idea for using leftover PET felt

4.3. The competition entry (hereinafter: ‘Entry’ or ‘Competition Entry’) must be the result of the Participant’s own original work and must not infringe the rights of third parties, including copyright.

4.4. Each Participant may submit one Entry for the Competition. Should the same Participant submit more than one Entry, the organiser will only consider the first Entry submitted.

4.5. Applications that are incomplete, submitted after the deadline specified in point 4.1, or which do not meet the conditions set out in these Rules will not be considered.

§5. Assessment criteria and the competition panel

5.1. Entries will be assessed by a Competition Committee appointed by the Organiser (hereinafter: ‘the Committee’).

5.2. The Commission assesses the Applications according to the following criteria:

  1. the originality and creativity of the submitted idea
  2. the concept’s alignment with the principle of using leftover materials and reducing waste
  3. a realistic possibility of making the item from available scraps of PET felt
  4. the overall aesthetic impression and the creativity of the description

5.3. The Commission’s decisions are final and cannot be appealed within the competition procedure, subject to the right to lodge a complaint as set out in §9.

5.4. The Committee reserves the right not to award the prize if none of the Entries meets the criteria set out in point 5.2 to a degree that would justify its award.

§6. Prizes

6.1. The competition offers two prizes:

Main prize:
The winning idea submitted by the Participant will be brought to life as a physical item produced by the Organiser using PET felt offcuts left over from the Feltdecor production process. The finished item will be presented to the winner.

Additional prize:
A voucher for a weekend stay for two people in a flat in Czorsztyn, valid until 31 December 2027. Details regarding the dates and arrangements for the stay will be provided to the winner individually once the results of the competition have been announced.

6.2. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or for any other prize.

6.3. Prizes may not be transferred to third parties.

6.4. The organiser will inform the winner of how and when to collect or claim their prize via the email address provided on the entry form.

6.5. If the value of the prize awarded exceeds the tax exemption threshold specified in the applicable tax legislation, the Organiser, as the tax withholder, will pay the income tax due in accordance with the applicable regulations and will inform the winner of this separately.

§7. Copyright

7.1. The participant declares that the Entry submitted is a product of their own, individual creative work and that they hold full, unrestricted copyright to the Entry.

7.2. The participant retains full copyright to the submitted idea.

7.3. Upon submission of the Entry, the Participant grants the Organiser a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence, without any territorial or time restrictions, to use the submitted idea to the extent necessary to:

  1. the awarding of the main prize referred to in §6, in the event that the Entry is selected as the winner
  2. the publication of the Entry or extracts thereof in the Organiser’s promotional materials, including on social media, on the website and in the newsletter, crediting the Participant as the author of the idea, unless the Participant objects to such publication

7.4. The Organiser undertakes to credit the author by name for any ideas published, unless the Participant specifies otherwise in the Entry or in separate correspondence with the Organiser.

§8. Legal liability

8.1. The Organiser shall not be liable for any failure to hold the Competition or to award the prize for reasons beyond the Organiser’s control, including force majeure.

8.2. The Organiser shall not be liable for any technical problems relating to the functioning of the website, the registration form or postal services, if such problems arise for reasons beyond the Organiser’s control.

8.3. The participant bears full responsibility for the accuracy of the statements made in the Application and for ensuring that the Application does not infringe the rights of third parties.

8.4. The Organiser reserves the right to exclude from the Competition any Participant whose Entry breaches the provisions of these Rules, applicable law or accepted standards of behaviour.

§9. Judging of the competition and announcement of the results

9.1. The results of the competition will be announced within 14 working days of the end of the Entry Period.

9.2. The results of the competition will be announced via the Feltdecor newsletter and the Organiser’s social media channels.

9.3. The winner will also be notified individually by email at the address provided in the entry form within 5 working days of the competition results being announced.

9.4. If the winner does not respond to the notification referred to in clause 9.3 within 14 days of it being sent, the Organiser reserves the right to select another Entry as the winning entry or not to award the prize.

§10. Complaints

10.1. Participants have the right to lodge a complaint regarding the conduct of the Competition within 14 days of the results being announced.

10.2. Complaints should be submitted electronically to the following email address: biuro@arpigroup.eu, with the subject line ‘Complaint – Felt Scraps’.

10.3. The complaint should include the Participant’s full name, the email address provided in the Application Form, and a detailed description and justification of the complaint.

10.4. The organiser will consider the complaint within 14 days of receiving it and will inform the Participant of the outcome of the complaint by email.

§11. Personal data

11.1. The data controller for Participants’ personal data is F.P.H.U. ARPI sp. z o.o., with its registered office at Kobylanka 812, 38-303 Kobylanka.

11.2. Participants’ personal data (name, email address) are processed for the purposes of organising and conducting the Competition, including selecting the winner, awarding the prize and dealing with any complaints, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).

11.3. Subscription to the Feltdecor newsletter and the processing of data for marketing purposes are based on separate consent given by the Participant when signing up on the dedicated website.

11.4. Participants have the right to access their personal data, to have it rectified, erased or restricted, to data portability, and to object to its processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

11.5. Detailed information regarding the processing of personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy available on the Organiser’s website.

§12. Final provisions

12.1. The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Rules during the course of the Competition, provided that this does not adversely affect the rights acquired by Participants. The Organiser will notify Participants of any amendments by publishing the updated Rules in the same place where the original version was published.

12.2. The organiser reserves the right to cancel or annul the Competition in the event of circumstances beyond its control that prevent it from being conducted properly, including, in particular, if there are too few entries.

12.3. These Rules and Regulations are available on the Organiser’s website for the entire duration of the Competition.

12.4. In matters not covered by these Terms and Conditions, the generally applicable provisions of Polish law shall apply, including the Civil Code and the Act on Copyright and Related Rights.

12.5. Any disputes arising from the performance of obligations relating to this Competition shall be settled by the court with jurisdiction over the Organiser’s registered office, unless otherwise provided for by generally applicable law.

12.6. These Rules and Regulations shall come into force on the date the Competition begins.
