Frequently asked questions
Is PaintSonic an acoustic painting or a decorative panel?
PaintSonic combines both functions. It looks like a modern painting in a wooden frame, but its felt surface helps absorb sound and reduce reverberation in the room. It’s a solution for people who want to improve acoustics without installing typical engineered acoustic panels on the wall.
Can I order my own UV printing on a PaintSonic acoustic image?
Yes, PaintSonic allows you to do custom UV printing. It can be a decorative graphic, an abstract pattern, a corporate identity element, company branding or a design prepared by an architect. Thus, the acoustic image can be matched to the design of a living room, office, hotel, restaurant or study.
Does UV printing affect the acoustic properties of the image?
UV printing does not take away from PaintSonic’s primary function. The image still acts as a decorative acoustic felt panel that helps reduce echo and reverberation. This allows you to combine a personalized wall design with improved acoustic comfort in the interior.
Where will PaintSonic acoustic paintings work best?
PaintSonic acoustic paintings work well in the living room, home office, study, reception area, conference room, hotel, restaurant and open space. They are best installed where sound bounces off blank walls, such as behind a sofa, at a conference table, next to a desk or in a conversation area.
Is it possible to create a larger composition on the wall from several PaintSonic images?
Yes. The 600 × 600 mm format is well suited for creating modular wall compositions. You can use one acoustic painting as a decorative accent or combine several modules into a larger arrangement. With a larger area covered with paintings, the effect of reducing reverberation will be more noticeable.
