SilentDecor are decorative PET acoustic felt panels decorated with V-cut notches. They combine the function of aesthetically pleasing wall finishing with improved acoustic comfort. They help reduce reverberation, organize sound in the interior and create a quieter space for work, conversation or relaxation.
What are the standard dimensions of SilentDecor acoustic panels?
SilentDecor boards are available in two standard formats: 1200 × 2400 × 9 mm and 1200 × 2780 × 12 mm. The large format allows you to quickly cover a larger area of the wall and achieve a uniform, decorative effect without a large number of joints.
Is SilentDecor suitable for soundproofing a wall?
Yes. SilentDecor acts as a wall acoustic panel that helps absorb sound and reduce reverberation in a room. It’s a good solution for offices, conference rooms, offices, hotels, restaurants, apartments and home offices. However, it is worth remembering that the panels improve acoustics inside the room, but do not replace full building insulation from outside noise.
How are SilentDecor decorative acoustic panels installed?
SilentDecor is designed for simple installation. The panels can be attached to the wall as decorative acoustic panels made of PET felt with mounting adhesive, adjusting the installation method to the type of substrate, panel format and interior design. For large areas, it is advisable to plan the layout of the panels, the direction of the V-cuts and the locations of the joints in advance to achieve a consistent visual effect.
